Now in its 7th year, The Big Feastival is a unique festival experience that blends top musicians with the best food you can think of, along with entertainment to keep the kids thoroughly entertained from morning to night.
Hosted on Alex’s James’ farm nestled in the Cotswolds, you won’t be disappointed with the music line up with Basement Jaxx, Craig David and Paloma Faith headlining the weekend.
What we love about Big Feastival is not just being welcomed by a glass of chilled Veuve Clicquot* on arrival to the main festival site, but that our little people are well and truly looked after on the Farm. You’ll see Justin Fletcher kick off the main stage on Saturday morning and you can adventure to a vintage fun fair and petting farm within a short walking distance. This is just a small amount of what will help keep them entertained between eating amazing food and listening to top class music! Giant hay bales scattered around the festival see kids making their own fun; climbing, jumping and finding new friends.
Our highlight for small people has to be NEFF’s Little Kitchen where the kids can pick their veggies in a purpose built festival allotment and cook them up into delicious dishes. Top festival tip – get there as soon as the gates open in the morning to reserve your space – it’s super popular with all the little people!
If you want to catch a glimpse of Alex James himself, you don’t have to look far – head down to the Cheese Hub for a selection of his very own cheeses, pair this with some red wine and kick back to him spinning tunes right here on the farm. Perfect spot for a selfie! You never know who he’s going to have on the decks, so always pop in on your way to the main stage for a real festival treat!
Of course, Big Feastival would never been complete with an amazing line up of top chefs, street food and the famous Veuve Clicquot VIP lounge – Mark Pierre White is on the bill this year, you’ll find street food all through the festival site as well as table discussions allowing you to get up close and personal with top chefs.
We can’t wait to get down on the farm this year.
